Vik Kadaba teamed with classmate Dylan Roberts for a big win at No. 2 doubles
April 16, 2013
Siena took two of the three doubles matches to start the match, and that point was the difference in a 4-3 win at Hartford Tuesday afternoon. Dylan Roberts, Alex Burbine and Darren Reich each won their singles contests for the Saints.
Roberts teamed with Kadaba for an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles, and Burbine joined with George Parkhurst for an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles to secure the critical doubles point after Siena dropped top doubles 8-4.
Roberts then posted an impressive 6-0 and 6-1 win at No. 2 singles over Marco Neves in the penultimate match of his career. Burbine also coasted to a straight set win at No. 3 singles, as did Reich at No. 5.
Ryan Schmitz suffered a hard-fought three-set loss to Jordan Badenko at top singles.
