Quinnipiac Sweeps Men’s Tennis

Siena Men’s Tennis fell 7-0 to Quinnipiac on Sunday afternoon in Hamden, Connecticut. The Saints drop to 4-11 on the season and 2-2 in conference play.

In doubles play, Matt Bellino and Alessandro Saglia fought hard in a close match but ultimately fell 7-5 on court one. Quinnipiac picked up wins on all three courts to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles.

Geovanny Mendoza played a tight first set on court three but fell 7-5. Bellino also played a tight set but fell 6-4 and then fell in straight sets. The Bobcats won in straight sets on all six courts to take a 7-0 victory.

Siena will travel to Poughkeepsie, New York on Wednesday, Apr. 12 to take on Marist. First serve is set for 4 p.m.
