The Colgate men's tennis team downed Siena, 7-0, on Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference match-up in the Sanford Field House.

The Raiders started off by sweeping the doubles competition as Phil Bernasek and Ruslan Goussiantnikov were the first to finish, defeating Kevin Gioia and Robert Cooperman, 8-0, at second doubles. At first doubles, the duo of Martin MacIntyre and John Nogueras beat out Jeremy Deuel and Nick Rutherford, 8-4. Michael Yassky and Jamie Pellechi rounded out the doubles play, downing Jarret Siwiec and Stefan Putyera, 8-4, in the No. 3 spot.

In singles play, MacIntyre dominated Deuel winning the first singles spot 6-0, 6-1. Nogueras defeated Rutherford at the No. 2 spot, 6-3, 6-1 while Bernasek downed Siwiec, 6-1, 6-1, at third singles. At the No. 4 spot, Yassky downed Gioia, 6-0, 6-2 and Goussiantnikov defeated Putyera 6-4, 6-4, at fifth singles. Freshman Connor Feuille his first match of the spring season at sixth singles, downing Cooperman, 6-2, 6-1.
