Siena Men’s Tennis fell 7-0 to Lehigh on Sunday afternoon at Lehigh. On the three-match road trip the Saints went 1-2.

“With injuries and sickness guys played up In some cases 1-2 spots in lineup and battled to the the end with a strong Lehigh team,” said head coach Jeff Osborn.

In doubles, Siena battled at doubles three with duo Alessandro Saglia and Peter Galante but eventually the two fell 7-5. Guillermo Lopez Torres and Matt Bellino battled at doubles one but fell 6-4. Lehigh took the doubles point to go up 1-0.

Cameron L. Kirkwood played a tough three-sets but would fall at singles three, while Bellino played a hard fought three-setter at singles five. Lehigh would sweep all other courts in two sets to complete the seven-point sweep.

Next for Siena is Senior Day on March 9 when the Saints host Hofstra.
