Siena Men's Tennis dropped a non-conference matchup 6-1 on Friday evening to Fordham at TriCity in Latham, New York. The Saints dropped to 3-3 on the season.
In doubles play, Peter Galante and Geovanny Mendoza played well but were unable to finish on court two after being up 6-5. Fordham clinched the doubles point and went up 1-0 in the match entering singles play.
Cameron L. Kirkwood was the only Saint to take a victory winning 10-7 in a third set tiebreaker. Mendoza at singles two along with Muhammad Raza Sawani at singles three but brought it to three sets, but were unable to gain the advantage over Fordham.
The Saints have a quick turnaround as they travel to face UConn on Saturday, February 3 at 4 p.m.
