Despite losing six of their last nine matches, the Saints (6-8-1, 2-4-1) remain in the hunt for one of the four available MAAC Championships berths. With three matches remaining entering today, the Saints are currently four points behind fourth place Manhattan.

Siena would love to send out its six-member senior class with a win to help keep the Saints MAAC Tournament hopes alive. The Saints' senior class consisting of Lewis Davenport, Falko Friedrichs, Adam Myers and captains James Beeston, Matt Hemsley and Mike Matera has won 31 matches and been a part of two of the three winningest seasons in program history.

It's also a must win for Rider (7-7-1, 2-4-1) which enters today as part of a four-way tie for sixth place with the Saints in the MAAC Standings. Predicted to finish last in the MAAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, Rider got off to a strong start but has cooled off of late, losing four of its past five matches.

Meeting for the 19th time, Siena leads the all-time series with Rider 9-5-4 and has dominated of late. The Saints are unbeaten in their past nine matches against the Broncs, posting a 6-0-3 record.
