Unpleasant Reunion
One of the most decorated goalkeepers in Siena Soccer history, Steve Skonieczny had another huge performance Saturday night. Unfortunately this time it came at the Saints' expense. Skonieczny shutout his former team propelling Marist to a 1-0 victory in Poughkeepsie.

Prior to kickoff, the Saints (9-6, 5-1) will recognize their five seniors - Daniel Alderstad, Sindre Ek, Joe Miner, Jannis Opalka and Sean Sullivan - in a special pre-match ceremony at 2:45 p.m.

In addition to celebrating Senior Day, the Saints are teaming up today with the volleyball team for "Dig Pink" as both squads look to raise money and awareness for breast cancer patients and their families. The Saints will be showing their support by wearing pink t-shirts and there will be tables set up at the match to collect donations. Additionally, fans can make a contribution and learn more about the cause by clicking the link at the top of the release.

Siena has alot to play for on the field too. All the Saints need is a point to lock up one of four spots in the MAAC Championships which will be hosted by Marist (5-9-1, 1-5) Nov. 8-10 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

The Saints can also make some history with a win today as well. With a victory, the Saints would set a new program record with their seventh straight home victory and also reach 10 wins for just the third time ever.
