Siena looks to retain Capital Region bragging rights in men's soccer when the Saints travel to crosstown rival UAlbany for a 7 p.m. kickoff at Bob Ford Field. The match will be televised on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel.
Kelly O'Donnell and Steve Freeman have the call of the action on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel. The match will air on Ch. 1803 (HD) and Ch. 50 (SD) in the Capital Region. Fans outside the viewing area can watch the match and follow the live stats online by clicking the links at the top of the release.
FREE transportation will be provided to Siena College students to attend the match. Shuttle buses will depart from outside the Marcelle Athletic Complex at 6, 6:30 and 7 p.m. Admission to the match ranges between $2-$7 and tickets can be purchased upon arrival at the Bob Ford Field Ticket Office.
Siena (3-2) has beaten UAlbany (1-4-2) each of the past two seasons including a 2-0 decision last season in Loudonville. The programs are meeting for a 13th consecutive season and 24th time overall with the Great Danes leading the all-time series 16-5-2.
Siena has lost seven in a row on UAlbany's home pitch and is just 1-9 overall. The Saints will be in search of their first men's soccer win at UAlbany in 26 years (Sept. 28, 1987).
