Saints Squander Lead, Hang On to Tie UMass
Siena appeared to be on its way to a third win in its past four matches Saturday, but a pair of late, unanswered goals changed that as the Saints settled for a 2-2 draw at UMass. Freshman midfielder Matt Hemsley scored his first career goal and senior striker Joey Tavernese added his third tally as Siena played its fourth overtime affair in nine matches this season.

Siena (2-4) is aiming to get back in the win column following three consecutive hard-fought overtime defeats. Today's match marks the middle game of a three-game homestand for the Green and Gold.

UMass' record is all square at 2-2-2, but the Minutemen are winless in their last four matches and still in search of their first road win of the season as they close out a season-long four-game road trip.

The Minutemen hold a 14-1-3 all-time advantage vs. the Saints, but four of the past five meetings have been decided by a goal which includes Siena's lone win in the series plus a tie.

This is the second of eight home men's soccer matches that will be streamed online at SienaAllAccess.com.
