Hartford Shuts Down Saints
Riding high off the biggest win in program history earlier this week, the Saints failed to build off their momentum as they dropped a tough 1-0 decision Thursday night at Hartford. It was the third straight 1-0 game the Saints have played to start the season as the team fell to 1-2.

The Saints (2-3) will look to get back to .500 following a pair of hard fought, heartbreaking overtime defeats against Fordham and Cleveland State last weekend in the Brown Classic. Siena has been led this year by senior striker Sindre Ek who has scored a goal in all five games this season.

Hartford (4-3) won last year's meeting between the teams 1-0 in Connecticut, evening the all-time series at 1-1-1. The Hawks enter today's match on a two-game winning streak following victories over Penn and UMass.
