LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Siena completed a successful weekend by following up a tie at Loyola with a 1-0 win at Rider Sunday afternoon. The Saints remain undefeated in MAAC play just over halfway through the conference schedule.

Vinny Russo picked up a loose ball in the goal area and scored his team-high fourth goal of the season with 18:23 left to play.

Rider (4-9-1, 0-5 MAAC) out-shot Siena (3-7-3, 3-0-2 MAAC) 11-10. Rider junior goalkeeper Brian Gill (Smithtown, NY/St. Anthony's) made three saves, while Siena goalkeeper Jonathan Hicks made just one save for his first shutout of the season.

With the win, Siena remains on the heels of the leaders in conference play. The Saints return to action at home against Canisius Friday and Niagara on Sunday.
