Mike Battiste '06 enters his second season as an assistant coach with the Siena Men's Soccer program.

In his first season, Battiste helped guide the Saints to the program's first two wins over nationally ranked opponents (#15 Ohio State and #16 Iona) and a MAAC Quarterfinals victory over defending conference champion Saint Peter's.

"We are very excited to bring Mike back to Siena College and look forward to him having an immediate impact on our program," Elliott said at the time of Battiste's appointment. "As a Siena alum he knows both the college and our program very well and his energy and experience coaching at the ODP and club levels will be a tremendous benefit for our team."

Battiste returns to Siena after spending the past several years coaching youth soccer at both the club and premier levels. He currently serves as the head coach of the New York Elite FC U18/19 men's soccer team and has previously coached the U8 Players Soccer Academy and U12 CDYSL Olympic Development Program.
