BUFFALO, N.Y. - Siena Lacrosse looks to advance to the MAAC Title Game for a fifth straight year when the third seeded Saints take on MAAC Co-Regular Season Champion and No. 2 seed Jacksonville in the conference semifinals at 8 p.m. at the Demske Sports Complex. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
Howard Simon, Mike Scott and Dave Miller have the call on ESPN3. The stream can be accessed by clicking the watch link at the top of the page and be viewed by computer, smart phone, tablet and Xbox 360 through WatchESPN. Additionally, a tape delayed rebroadcast of the game will air in the Capital Region on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel (Ch. 50 - SD, Ch. 1803 - HD) Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m.
Siena makes its sixth appearance in the MAAC Championships in the past seven years after never having qualified in the program's first 11 seasons in the league. The City of Buffalo has been kind to the Saints as both of the program's MAAC Championships in 2009 and 2011 were won here and Siena has won seven in a row in the city including both regular season and postseason play.
In their third and final season in the MAAC Lacrosse League, Jacksonville recently captured a share of the program's first regular season title. In the first meeting between the teams this season on Mar. 16, the Dolphins earned their first win in four tries against the Saints with an 11-10 overtime decision in Florida.
