Siena (5-3, 1-0) seems to be getting hot at just the right time again, having won four in a row entering today. March has been the Saints' month of late as the Green and Gold are an impressive 14-3 in March the past three years.

A resurgent offense has been the Saints strong suit during their winning streak. After averaging just 7.5 goals in losing three of their first four games to start the season, Siena has erupted for an average of 15.5 during the current winning streak.

The catalysts to the offense continue to be Bryan Neufeld and Danny Martinsen, both of whom are closing in on major milestones this afternoon.

Neufeld, who has gone off for 27 points during the four-game winning streak, now stands just two points shy of 200 for his career. Only the legendary Tony Asterino '81 and Tom Baldwin '81 have ever eclipsed the 200-point mark in program history and only two other current Division I players - Rob Pannell of Cornell and Steele Stanwick of Virginia - are the only active members of this exclusive club.

Martinsen meanwhile needs just three more points to become the 22nd player in program history with 100 career points. Martinsen too has been red-hot of late and carries a team-best 25-game point scoring streak and 15-game goal scoring streak into today's contest.

But records aside, today is a crucial game for the Saints as it marks their conference home opener. After beginning league play with a last second win at VMI two Saturdays ago, Siena has an opportunity to move to 2-0 in the MAAC Standings with just four conference games remaining.

But today's foe Jacksonville (4-5, 1-1) proves to be no easy test.

In just their third year of existence and second season in the MAAC, the Dolphins already have made some noise. Jacksonville qualified for the MAAC Tournament last season and has a dynamic team again this year gunning to once again finish near the top of the conference standings.
