Siena Men's Lacrosse Game to Benefit Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
March 19, 2009
LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena men's lacrosse will play Hartford in a neutral site game at St. John's the Baptist High School in West Islip, N.Y. on Saturday, March 21 at 2:30 p.m. A $5 donation at the door by fans will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's fight against blood cancer. "We are very thankful to St. John's the Baptist to be able to play down on Long Island this Saturday and bring awareness to the fight against Leukemia," Siena head coach Brian Brecht said. "With 31 of our players being from Long Island it will feel like a homecoming for all of them." This is Siena's (2-5) second neutral site game of the season on Long Island. They defeated Presbyterian 15-2 on March 1 in Port Jefferson Station. For more information about the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, please contact Katie Stockhammer at Katie.Stockhammer@lls.org.
