The Last Meeting
March 20, 2012
Loudonville, N.Y.
Since first meeting Marco last year, the Saints have helped raise funds for him and his battle against osteosarcoma. Marco will also join the team in the lockerroom and the Saints will be wearing camouflage bracelets in his honor that say: For Marco - Hope and Inspiration. With their honorary teammate with them on the field, the Saints (1-3) will look to play inspired for one of their biggest fans. Siena defeated the eventual America East Champions 12-11 in a wild affair in Loudonville. Stony Brook (3-2) is coming off back-to-back Big East wins over St. John's and Rutgers and enters today's matchup amongst teams also receiving votes in this week's Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll.
