Siena Lacrosse Coach in Debut

New Siena men's lacrosse coach John Svec, the man he replaced and the man who helped groom Svec for the job will all be at the Carrier Dome on Sunday afternoon.

Svec makes his head-coaching debut when the Saints face Hobart in the final game of a tripleheader in Syracuse at 5 p.m.

Svec took over for Brian Brecht, hired by Rutgers in the offseason, who will lead the Scarlet Knights against Air Force in the first match of the day at 11 a.m.

Then UAlbany coach Scott Marr will guide the Great Danes in their opener against eighth-ranked Syracuse at 2 p.m.
