Brad Hutton's man-up goal with 3:39 to play was the game winner as Hartford rallied past Siena 15-14 Saturday in Loudonville. Kyle Curry scored four goals for the Saints, Kieran Donohue and Connor Prunty each finished with a hat trick in defeat.

Siena (1-5) seemed to have firm command, holding a 7-2 lead after Curry's first tally a minute and a half into the second quarter, but Hartford scored six times in the second, cutting the deficit to 10-8 by intermission.

Curry scored three of the Saints' four goals in the second, and his fourth put the Saints up 11-8 less than a minute into the third quarter. Andrew Cacchio then notched his fourth goal, igniting a 3-0 Hartford run that tied the game with 9:20 left in the third.

The two teams then traded goals three times, with Donohue giving Siena its final lead 14-13 with 9:28 left in the fourth. Jack Bobzien tied the game with 6:58 to play, and Hutton's decisive strike came after a holding penalty.

Hartford out-shot Siena 50-35. Matt Sharp had 14 saves for the Saints. Siena won 19 of 32 faceoffs and converted all three of its extra man opportunities, but all three came in the first quarter.

Richie Hurley added two goals to round out Siena's multi-goal scorers. Colin Clive and Nate Barry each had two assists. Prunty scored his three goals in the first half.

Kevin O'Shea (3), Rory Nunamacher (2) and Jack Bobzien (2) each found the cage more than once for the Hawks.

The Saints last four losses have been by three goals or fewer, and their last four games have each been decided by two goals or fewer (1-3).

Siena starts MAAC play, and a three-game road trip, at Jacksonville next Saturday.
