BEFORE SIENA: Named a 2011 US Lacrosse Boys' High School All-American following his senior year at Weddington High...As a senior was named the Union County Weekly's 2011 Boys Lacrosse Player of the Year after leading the nation averaging 7.6 points per game...Ranked third nationally with 120 total points on 67 goals and 53 assists while picking up 44 groundballs in leading the Warriors to an 11-5 record and state semifinals appearance as a senior...Spent a post graduate year playing at Salisbury School (Conn.) in 2012.

PERSONAL: Born September 20, 1993 in Syracuse...The son of Mark and Lana Burnam...Father, Mark, played collegiatelly at Syracuse (1981-84) where he won a national championship in 1983 and professionally for both the Buffalo Bandits (1992-93) and Rochester Knighthawks (1997)...Older brother, Tyler, is also a freshman on the Siena Lacrosse team...Has an older brother, Hugh, who attends Buffalo State, and a younger sister, Cheyenne...Aspires to become a doctor.
