LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Over 50 friends, family and community members attended the dedication of the Raymond Center and Harry Mikhitarian Golf Training Facility Tuesday evening on the Siena College campus. The state-of-the-art complex has been home to the men's and women's golf teams since last fall.

Siena College chaplain Fr. Greg Jakubowicz officially blessed the facility and Ken Raymond and the widow of the late Harry Mikhitarian cut the ceremonial ribbon, officially opening the facility. Siena College President Fr. Kevin Mullen, O.F.M., Director of Athletics John D'Argenio and Men's Golf Head Coach Tom Wronowski were among those in attendance and all spoke about the new facility.

Construction began last June and both the men's and women's golf programs have had use of the facility since the start of their fall seasons.

The facility features a custom putting green, as well as an indoor driving range and a swing/video analysis center. Siena's golfers have enjoyed the use of a personal club room as well as a player lounge and the facility includes coaches' offices and a club storage area.

Through the generosity of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Raymond, the family of Mr. Harry Mikhitarian, and First Columbia, this exciting new addition to the Siena campus has already taken shape. The facility is located as an extension of the Marcelle Athletic Complex parallel to the third base line of the Siena baseball field.
