The online auction used to fundraise for the men’s and women’s golf program’s summer trip to Scotland has been extended to April 30th. Fans can bid on membership to the Van Schaick Island Country Club, with all proceeds going directly to the golf program’s summer trip.
“We want to thank the board of Van Schaick Island Country Club for their generosity in helping this event,” women’s head coach Dave Wronowski said. “These funds will go directly to helping fund our summer trip overseas.”
Founded in 1895, the Van Schaick Island Country Club Van Schaick Island Golf Course is a private, nine-hole golf course with varied front and back nine tee boxes playing to a par 72 for men and par 73 for women. VSICC maintains six tee locations for every hole ensuring that an enjoyable round is within reach for golfers of all skill levels.
Both the men’s and women’s golf teams are preparing for the conference championships which begins April 26th in Orlando, Fla. The women’s program has won 12-straight conference titles, the third longest active streak in the nation.
