The men's golf team is currently trails the field after the first day of the two-day Lehigh Invitational held in Bethlehem, Pa. Michael Shine continues his consistent play this season, finishing the day tied for 12th after shooting an 80.
The first round was delayed this morning due to frost on the greens. The forecasted frost for tonight has prompted officials at the Lehigh Invitational to push back the shotgun start tomorrow to 10:30 a.m.
The Lehigh Invitational is the final Tournament for the Saints for the Fall season.
The Saints are seventh after the first day, shooting 336. Behind Shine's 80, Riley McGraw finished the day shooting an 84 and in the 33rd position. McGraw and Scott Kim led the Saints in total birdies (2) during the first round. Kim finished the day shooting an 86.
Rutgers University leads all teams with a first round score of a 305. Rutgers' Jonathan Renza and Doug Walters hold the top-2 spots, shooting a 72, and 74, respectively.
The Saints will complete the Lehigh Tournament tomorrow morning starting the shotgun play at 10:30 a.m.
