Men's Golf Finishes Sixth at Hofstra Invitational

The Siena men's golf team finished sixth at in the thirteen-team member Hofstra Golf Fall Invitational on the par-70, 6,868-yard Red Course at Bethpage State Park Saturday afternoon. The Red Flash of St. Francis of Loretto, who led the field with 17 birdies while posting 101 pars, captured the team title with a 595 team score after a 301 (+21).

Freshmen Bryan Bigley and Jeremy Melchior shot a team low 75, falling three shots behind leader Robby Bigley with a score of 72-76=148, he finished seventh in a tie among a group of 66 golfers.

Junior Brad Myatt finished 33rd 75-80=155, while teammate Brandon Conti tied for 56th, 80-83=163.

The men will take a winter break before spring play.
