Siena Men’s Golf wrapped up play at the Connecticut Cup Tuesday, finishing seventh overall and tops amongst the four MAAC competitors in the 15-team field. Senior Scott Kim shot an even-par 72 for the second time in three rounds to finish tied for fourth overall individually.
Boston College won the event, with Siena finishing just 15 strokes back in a tight top-half of the field. The Saints were 17 strokes better over the 54-hole event than MAAC foe Fairfield which finished 11th. Rider was 14th and Canisius 15th amongst the MAAC competitors.
Kim finished with rounds of 72, 75 and 72 in shooting +3 for the tournament and coming in just two strokes behind individual champion Matt Naumec of BC. Junior Michael Christifulli and sophomore Jack Downey each finished tied for 31st overall after carding final round scores of 78.
The Saints conclude their fall schedule with the Lehigh Invitational Oct. 21-22 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
