Paced by medalist Tyler Brewington, Rider University won the 16th Annual St. Bonaventure Leo Keenan Invitational on Monday at Bartlett Country Club.
Rider posted a team score of 290 in the final round, the low score in the 15-team event, to post a total of 590 and win by nine shots over host St. Bonaventure. The Saints began the day in a three-way tie for ninth place, 15 shots behind Rider and first round co-leader Drexel, and shot 308 on Monday to secure 10th place.
Youngstown State finished third at 600 followed by Drexel (601) and Robert Morris (606). Seton Hall (612) finished sixth, Cornell (613) and Duquesne (613) tied for seventh, Long Island (619) finished ninth.
Freshman Allen Parker paced Siena, he posted a 77 for a tournament total of 152 and tied for 19th in the field of 80 golfers. Parker was the only Saint to finish in the top 20. Bobby Bigley ended two shots behind Parker with 75. Junior Brad Myatt tallied (153) while teammate Bryan Bigley shot a low round with six-over par-70. He totaled 160 and tied for 60. Matt Lentner capped off the Saints finishing in 78th (170).
