The Siena men's golf team shot a 4-over par 580 Saturday in the first day of the Cornell Fall Invitational at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course in Ithaca, NY, to stand in thirteenth place after two rounds.
Siena found itself in 10th place after shooting a 10-over 310 in the first round but recovered by firing a second-round 6-under 302.
Brad Myatt led the Saints in both rounds 36-hole score of 150. Myatt's combined score (78,72) was proficient for a tie for 26th place among individuals.
United, the Saints collected 21 birdies and one eagle credited to freshman Allen Parker. Teammates Robby Bigley and Brian Dunn pooled for a score of 158, while Bryan Bigley and Parker are separated by one point.
Rider University leads the tournament after opening with a 4-under 581, nine shots better than Pennsylvania, who finished with 590.
The Saints will hit RTJ course tomorrow morning to tackle the final 18 holes on the day.
