Men’s Golf Opens Play at Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge

Siena Men’s Golf stands 12th overall following the first 18 of 36 holes at Dartmouth’s Quechee Club Collegiate Challenge in Quechee, Vermont. Freshman Jack Brown was the Saints’ Day One leader with a round of 75.

Cornell and Harvard are tied for the clubhouse lead following the first day of action. The Saints meanwhile bested Brown and Holy Cross through the opening 18 holes of play in the 14-team field.

Brown tallied three birdies and also parred nine holes to lead Siena at +3 for the round. Classmate Pudge Williams also had a strong round, firing a 76 which included 12 pars.

Final Round action tees off at 9 a.m. Sunday.
