Men's Golf Finished Ninth at the Cornell Invitational

After a rain shortened second round on Saturday afternoon at the Cornell Invitational, the Saints resumed play and finished strong, placing ninth in a 15 team Tournament. Michael Shine continued his strong play this season finishing ninth for the Saints.
For the Saints, Louis Walsh dropped to finish in the 42nd position after shooting a final round 85 and 235 overall. Brendan Quintana joined Shine and Walsh to finish as the third Saints member inside the top-50. Quintana shot a final round 80.
Rounding out the Saints team are James Sullivan and Riley McGraw. Finishing tied for 51st position and tied at 6o, shooting and overall 238 and 240, respectively.
Towson University won the overall Tournament by five strokes over Drexel University. Drexel University may not have won the team award but Drexel's Christopher Crawford took home the medalist honors. Crawford shot a final round 69 to defeat Dartmouth College's Jeffrey Lang by a comfortable six stroke lead.
The Saints travel to Ellington, Connecticut to play in the Connecticut Cup on October 7 and 8.
