The second round of the Cornell Invitational was suspended after 12 holes on Saturday afternoon. At the end of the first round, Siena's Michael Shine was tied for fifth after shooting a 72. The Siena men's golf team is tied for ninth (308).
The Cornell Invitational will finish the second round Sunday morning starting at 7:30 a.m. and the teams will proceed into the final round of play immediately following the completion of the second round.
For the Saints, Louis Walsh is tied in the 24 position after shooting a 77 in the first round of play. Siena has four of three players inside the top-40 with James Sullivan finishing in the 32 position.
The overall Tournament has been controlled by Binghamton University (300) as they lead Drexel University (302) for the lead by two strokes. Binghamton also has the current medal holder with Bryce Edmister leading the pack, shooting a 69.
The Saints will look to gain ground as they continue play tomorrow morning.
