The Siena men's golf team advanced one spot in the standings in the final round, finishing 12th in the 14 team field in the Colgate Invitational in Hamilton, N.Y. Scott Kim led the Saints improving his overall position to 27th after shooting a 75 in the final round.
All members of the Saints improved their day one standings. Sophomore Michael Shine jumped five players to finish inside the top-40 for the Tournament, shooting a final round 78. Junior Louis Walsh placed inside the top-60 for the Saints scoring an 80 on Sunday afternoon to finish a consistent weekend.
The Saints completed the 54-holes and moved passed MAAC rival Rider to finish the Colgate Invitational in 12th out of 14 teams. The Saints also finished ahead of Niagara University, ending as the top MAAC finisher.
Binghamton brought home the overall team honors and Lafayette's Jared Mactas was the Tournament's medalist.
Up next for the Saints is the Cornell Invitational this weekend on September 14 and 15.
