Men's Golf Takes Second at MAAC Championships

The Siena College men's golf team took second place at the 2004 JetBlue MAAC Championships at the Palm Golf Course in Walt Disney World. Loyola College claimed the tournament's top spot, as they earned their eighth-straight league title.
The Saints finished the three-day tournament with a 909 (308, 309, 292). Their round 292 on day three was the lowest single-day score of the championship weekend. The Green and Gold ended up eight strokes behind champion Loyola, who posted a score of 901 (305, 303, 293). Niagara University (922), Fairfield University (930) and Rider College (932) rounded out the top-five.
Robby Bigley led Siena with a score of 223-- good enough for fourth place individually. Ben Eldridge and Bryan Bigley also earned top-10 spots as they finished in ties for fifth and eighth, respectively. Brad Myatt ended in a tie for 19th while Allen Parker took a tie for the 24th spot.
