Siena men's golf sits seventh of 14 teams after two rounds of play at the Villanova Invitational at White Manor Country Club. Junior David Gushee was the team's top performer Monday, and he sits tied for 10th with 18 holes left to play.
Gushee shot rounds of 78 and 74, and his 10-over-par total is 12 shots back of individual leader Matthew Turner of Ohio State heading into the final round. Senior Nick Miller was next best for the Green and Gold, signing for scores of 79 and 76 and tying for 25th.
Siena's two-round total of 625 is 23 shots behind team leader Ohio State. The Buckeyes lead Delaware by one shot and St. John's by three.
Play continues tomorrow with the tournament's third and final round.
