Saints Men's Golf Places 18th At El Diablo Intercollegiate

Citrus Springs, FL--Siena College men's golf team finished 18th overall out of 19 competing schools at the 6th annual El Diablo Intercollegiate tournament at the El Diablo Golf and County Club on Sunday afternoon. Sophomore Bryan Bigley led the Saints finishing 52nd with 20-over-par 236.
Oklahoma City University won the team competition after shooting a 32-over-par 293-302-301 (896), followed closely by Texas-San Antonio 42-over 313-296-297 (906). Siena finished with a 329-319-322-970. Only three schools shot lower rounds on day two of the tournament.
Allen Parker shot an 82-80-80 (242) to finish as one of the six golfers tied for 66th. Closely behind Parker was Jeremy Melchoir (250) tied for 91st, shooting a team low second round of 77. Brad Myatt finished in a five-way tie for 99th place with a final score of (255) and junior Robby Bigley finished 104th, while Brian Dunn was nine strokes behind Bigley with 91-84-92 (267), good for 109th place.
The Saints next round of play comes at the George Washington Invitational on April 1st in Swan Point, Md
