Men’s Golf Tees Off Spring Season at Loyola Intercollegiate

Siena Golf teed off its spring season with the first two of three rounds at the Loyola Intercollegiate at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Arizona. Four Saints are within two shots of each other in a tight team grouping through the first 36 holes.

College of Charleston leads the field with a two-round score of -30. Gonzaga moved up six spots in the Second Round to pull within eight strokes of the lead. Siena shot an Opening Round score of 295, followed by a Second Round tally of 299 to sit at +18 overall.

SIU Edwardsville’s Danny Gorman is the clubhouse leader through the first 36 of 54 holes at -12 following rounds of 68 and 64. Freshman Pudge Williams and senior Michael Christifulli each shot two identical rounds of 74 apiece to sit at +2 for the tournament. Freshman Jack Brown and sophomore Jack Bellardini are each one stroke back.

Final Round action tees off Monday morning with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. MT (10 a.m. ET).
