FALL 2006: Participated in one event on the semester at the Don Mershon Lehigh Invitational, where he placed 43rd overall 88-80-168...Completed the fall with an 84 scoring average.
SPRING 2006: Mirrored the same performance in which he displayed in the fall, as he competed in just one event, being the Iona Invitational 87-81-168, where he finished fifth on the "B" squad...Ended the spring campaign with an 84 scoring average.
FALL 2005: Participated in the season opener at the Navy Invitational, where he placed fourth on the team and finished tied in 47th place overall 76-78-154.
SPRING 2005: Had his breakout semester as a Saint, featuring in all five of the Saints' scheduled tournaments...Recorded an 81.5 scoring average...Best performance of the semester came at the Emerald Coast Collegiate Classic, where he fired a semester-best single round 74 in the second day, while completing the three-day tournament with a semester-low score of 236 (81-74-81).
FALL 2004: Played in a pair of invitationals, including the Don Mershon Lehigh Invitational and the Hofstra Invitational, where he finished third on team in both events...Completed the Lehigh Invitational tied for 10th place overall 78-75-153 and ended the Hofstra Invitational tied for 16th place 77-75-152.
BEFORE SIENA: Lettered six years of varsity golf, four years of varsity basketball and one year of varsity football at Potsdam...Academic All-Northern selection in each of his four years throughout high school...First Team Golf selection in both his senior and junior years...Selected First Team All-Northern Golf as a sophomore...Second Team All-Northern Golf selection his freshman year...State participant in golf three times during high school.
PERSONAL: Born September 20, 1984...The son of William and Carole Melchior...Has a brother Bill, who attended SUNY Albany and a brother Don, who attended SUNY Plattsburgh...A psychology major, who aspires to play professional golf in the PGA.
