Siena tries to claim the Franciscan Cup for the first time tonight by doing something it has never done: win at St. Bonaventure's Reilly Center. The Saints and Bonnies tip at 9 p.m. in a game that will be nationally televised on the NBC Sports Network.
The Saints are hoping to avoid just their second five-game losing streak in the last eight years by handing head coach Mitch Buonaguro a victory on his 59th birthday.

St. Bonaventure bridged the first and second halves with a 12-0 run to take a lead it would not relinquish, but stubborn Siena kept the battle for the Franciscan Cup up for grabs until the final seconds, before succumbing 64-58 Monday night in Albany.
