O.D. Anosike, a 6-foot-8 senior forward of Siena has proved to be a force to be reckoned with on the post. Anosike led the nation in rebounding and double doubles last season. He is a veteran plays with high energy and will enter this season as the leader for the Saints. The Staten Island, NY native is an American of Nigerian descent and the seventh of eight children. Nicky Anosike, his sister, was a McDonald's All-American, Tennessee Lady Vol, and currently plays for the Los Angeles Sparks. After a strong individual season, there is no reason to believe O.D. won't return where he left off or come back even stronger.

MAACHoops: How did you spend your Summer?

Anosike: A lot of it was spent in the gym just trying improve my game any way I could. I also stayed on campus and took some classes.

MAACHoops: What is your course of study and why did you choose it?

Anosike: I'm an Economics major and a Sociology and a Criminal Justice minor. I enjoy all three fields very much, so that helps me to stay interested and focused on my coursework and get very high GPAs every semester.

MAACHoops: Your sister had a successful career at Tennessee currently started this past WNBA for season for the Los Angeles Sparks. What kind of relationship do you guys have?
