Sophomore Maurice White will transfer from Siena following the spring semester. White informed head coach Jimmy Patsos of his decision earlier this week.

"I had a great experience at Siena," White said. "I loved my coaches and professors, and really appreciate all the support I was given in my two years here. I just want to go somewhere that will give me an opportunity to play more basketball so I can continue to chase my dreams."

White, a 6-4 guard from Baltimore, appeared in 61 games in his two seasons with the Saints making seven starts. He averaged 3.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 11.5 minutes per contest.

"Maurice is a great person," Siena coach Jimmy Patsos said. "Obviously, we wish things would have worked out for him at Siena, but I respect his decision and wish him nothing but the best."

White is currently in good academic standing at Siena.
