Siena will play postseason basketball for the second straight season.

Harris Mansell hit a 3-pointer with six seconds left to lift Rider past Niagara 90-87 Wednesday night in Lawrenceville. The victory gives Siena a three game lead in the MAAC standings with just two league games remaining, meaning the Saints have locked up the regular-season title and top seed in the upcoming championships for the second straight season.

The regular-season title also ensures the Saints of a Postseason NIT berth should they falter in the MAAC Championships and not earn an at large bid to the NCAA's.

The Saints also now know their first round MAAC Tournament game will take place Saturday, March 7 at Times Union Center at 5 p.m. on MSG. They will play the winner of the #8/#9 game scheduled for Friday, March 6 at 7:30. Should they advance, the Saints would play in the first semifinal game Sunday, March 8 at 6 p.m. This year's MAAC Championship game is Monday, March 9 at 9 p.m.

It marks the sixth time Siena has won or shared the MAAC regular-season title in its 19th season as a league member. Only Manhattan (also six) has won has many regular-season titles over that time period.

Siena breaks from conference play to take on Missouri Valley leader Northern Iowa Saturday at 3:05 p.m. on ESPN2 at Times Union Center.
