Siena Athletics Looking to Partner with Area Corporations in Community Outreach

The Siena athletic department is making discounted blocks of tickets available to area businesses for its final men's basketball regular-season game of the season against Niagara on Saturday, February 25 at 7 p.m. The business are encouraged to donate the tickets to area youth groups or organizations.

"This is a great opportunity for area organizations to give back to the Capital Region community," director of athletics John D'Argenio said. "Siena basketball is the premier sporting event in the Albany area, and this initiative will allow many young people access to this great event who otherwise may not have had the means."

Tickets are available in blocks of 50 and 100 for $500 and $800 respectively. Corporations can distribute tickets to the youth group of their choice , or simply chose from a list provided by the athletic department.

The Niagara game will mark the final home game of the season for the over-achieving men's basketball team. Senior standout Antoine "Scoop" Jordan will be honored in a special pre game ceremony.
