Rakeem Brookins is feeling confident.
His optimism may just be carrying over to the Siena offense. The Saints sophomore guard has been off the court quite a bit this season, but if he can remain healthy, his team will only benefit.
Brookins missed the first three games of the season because of a violation of athletic department policy, but he's also missed four games with back issues, which forced him to miss all of last season.
Brookins' play, coupled with the return of Trenity Burdine from an academic suspension, has bolstered the Siena offense, which had been one of the most inept in the country.
