Both teams open up the major portion of their conference schedule

Coaches Mitch Buonaguro and Ali Jaques met with members of the Capital Region media Wednesday for the Siena Basketball Media Luncheon. Fans can watch the archive FREE online at SienaAllAccess.com. Both teams will begin the bigger portion of their conference schedule this week.

The men host Iona at the Times Union Center Friday night at 7 p.m., while the women travel to Canisius for an 11 a.m. Friday night. Both squads then hit the road with the men taking on Rider Sunday at 2:00 p.m. and the women traveling to Niagara Sunday at 2:00 p.m.

A total of 11 media lunches have been scheduled during the season, giving the local media an additional opportunity to meet and chat with both head coaches, while allowing fans added insight into both programs.
