ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Dwayne Archbold scored a game-high 27 points to lead Siena past Canisius, 63-43, on Monday in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference matchup.
After Canisius (6-12, 3-6) took a 5-0 lead to open the game, Siena (10-13, 7-4) went on a 9-0 run to take the lead for good. The Saints held a 27-19 halftime lead, the fifth time this season they've held an opponent to 20 or fewer points in the first half.
Archbold, who scored 15 of his points in the opening half, was the only Siena player in double figures.
Hodari Mallory and Andrew Bush finished with 10 points each for Canisius.
