Hit on 76.6% of his free throws... His 1.30 assist-to-turnover ratio was the best on the team... Tied for second on the team in blocks with 11... Led the team in steals with 48 averaging 1.7 spg... 2002-2003...Had an immediate impact averaging nine points, 5.3 rebounds and 26.2 minutes per game...Minutes were most played by a freshman since Geoff Walker (1994)...Reached double figures in 14 of 32 games played...Started final 19 games of season...Connected on 40.4% of three-point shots--the best percentage on the team...Recorded five or more rebounds in 13 of last 14 games...Scored 16 points on four occasions, and pulled down season-high 15 rebounds against Marist (2/1/03)...Scored 16 points and hauled down nine rebounds while converting 3-of-4 three-point opportunities in win over Providence (1/4/03).
BEFORE SIENA...Did not play senior year, as prep school (Celestial Academy) he was attending closed down mid-season...As a junior he averaged 18 points, six assists and seven rebounds at Randallstown High School, which won the Class AAA State Championship...Named All-City, All-County and All-Metro as a junior...Selected MVP of Mayor's Holiday Tournament two-year's in a row...In the summer, he was selected all-tournament at every major AAU Championship he attended and was named an all-American at the senior nationals.
