Neil Berkman begins his third season with the Saints, where he is responsible for an array of tasks. He works primarily with the perimeter players in practice, develops scouting reports and assists in on-campus recruiting.

Berkman joined the Siena staff after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at Cornell University. He was promoted to full-time assistant his final year with the Big Red. His duties at Cornell included serving as the recruiting and scouting coordinator and working with the defense during practices.

Berkman came to Cornell from Coastal Carolina University, where he was an administrative assistant (1997-98). For five seasons prior to Coastal, Berkman was a successful high school coach at the Bullis School in Potomac, Md. He helped guide Bullis to a 22-1 season and #3 ranking in the greater-Washington area in the 1995-96 season.

A 1991 graduate of the University of Maryland (College Park) with a bachelor's degree in communications, Berkman is single and resides in Albany.
