The awards keep coming for Siena's Mike Fish even though he's already begun his professional career in the Los Angeles Angels organization. Fish was named to the 2013 ECAC Division I Baseball All-Stars First Team today. He was the only player from the MAAC to earn recognition on the First Team.

Fish recently was named a Third Team All-American by the American Baseball Coaches Association and First Team All-Region selection.

The Saints' eighth MAAC Player of the Year led the conference in home runs (12), hits (81), runs scored (54), total bases (136) and slugging percentage (.602), ranking second in the league in RBI (50) and doubles (17), and fifth in average (.358) as a senior. He helped the Saints reach the MAAC Championship game for the second time in the past three years this May.

Fish was drafted in the 32nd Round of Major League Baseball's First Year Player's Draft by the Angels on June 8. He has since signed with the organization and began his professional career with Peoria in the Arizona League on June 20.
