LOUDONVILLE, NY - Siena Baseball begins its final week of the regular season by concluding the non-conference portion of its schedule vs. UMass Lowell at 2 p.m. at Siena Field. The game will be broadcast online at SienaAllAccess.com.

Siena (16-32) hopes to use today's contest as a springboard for its critical regular season ending series vs. Saint Peter's which commences Thursday in Loudonville. The Saints enter the final week of the regular season tied for fifth place in the MAAC Standings with Manhattan, and hold a one-game lead on seventh place Niagara. The top-six teams qualify for the MAAC Tournament which begins next Wednesday in Staten Island.
UMass Lowell (22-25) currently sits in a four-way tie for second place in the America East at 11-10 with Maine, Stony Brook, and UMBC. The River Hawks are 2-2 vs. MAAC teams this season, having dropped a mid-week contest at Marist in late March before taking two of three this past weekend from Fairfield in Massachusetts.
The programs are meeting for just the second time ever. UMass Lowell captured the inaugural meeting with Siena 9-4 on May 18, 2016 in Lowell.
