Siena and LeMoyne will begin their three-game MAAC series Friday night at state-of-the-art Joseph Bruno Stadium in Troy. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. It will be the first Division I college baseball game ever played at the stadium which opened in June of 2002.
Admission for the game is free and several area little league and youth league groups will be in attendance. Concessions will be sold and area youth are encouraged to attend to participate in a variety of games and contests.
LeMoyne was the co-preseason favorite to win the MAAC, Siena was chosen fourth. The two teams are currently tied for fourth place in the league standings with a 5-4 mark. Siena has won five straight games entering this weekend's three-game series.
Following Friday night's single nine inning game, the two teams will play a doubleheader (7 inning and nine innings) on Siena's campus Saturday at noon.
