    GENERAL: A talented offensive catcher who will again compete for innings at backstop or designated hitter...Can hit for average and power...Could also see action as a designated hitter depending on matchups...Spent most of the off-season working on his all-around skills and abiding by an intense workout regimen to prepare for this coming season.

    AS A JUNIOR: Started in five of the 13 games he played in...Hit one homerun, knocked in two runs, and composed a .091 batting average.

    AS A SOPHOMORE: Started 18 of the 23 games he appeared in mostly as a designated hitter...Batted .175 with six runs and 10 RBI...Went 2-for-3 with three RBI in win at Canisius (5/1).

    AS A FRESHMAN: Emerged as a pleasant surprise at the plate for the Saints...Batted .247, the highest output in the freshman class...Led team in doubles (12) and triples (2)...Also drove in 23 runs...Enjoyed a breakout game against Centenary, collecting three hits, including two doubles and a triple in just four at bats, while notching three runs batted in (3/14/03).
