AS A FRESHMAN: Named Honorable Mention Freshman All-American and All-MAAC...Teamed with Hanan to form the most prolific double play duo in school history...Ended the regular-season with a then-school record 67 base hits, 215 at bats and 247 plate appearances...Reached base in nearly 39% of his trips to the plate...Quickly developed into one of the top defensive second basemen in the conference, committing just 11 errors all season (.953 fielding percentage)...Finished season second on team with a .311 batting average and 16 stolen bases...Batted .430 when leading off an inning (93 at bats) and was tops on team with 23 multi-hit games.
